David C. Roberts, a Member of law firm Norris McLaughlin, P.A., will co-present “Anatomy of a Corporate/Business Divorce” with Hubert Klein of EisnerAmper, LLP, at the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA) and the Consultants’ Training Institute’s (CTI) 2018 Annual Consultants’ Conference to be held June 20-22. They will discuss disputes including dissenting shareholder matters, oppressed shareholder actions, deadlock actions in 50-50 companies, actions involving LLCs, and disassociation. Also to be addressed will be investigating claims, seeking information, recognizing the impact of jurisdictional differences, and interacting with counsel as a valuation expert to address the issues encountered in business divorces. Two hours of CPE, one in accounting and one in personal development, are being offered.
